Cookies and browser storage allow a website or connected service to remember information about a visit. Some technologies are needed for basic operation, while others measure performance or advertising and are optional.
Technologies used on this website
This website uses essential hosting, security and local-storage technology. The consent choice is stored in the visitor's browser so the site can remember whether optional tracking was accepted or refused.
After optional consent, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-18G8DJXKTH) measures page views and a generate_lead event after a project inquiry is successfully submitted. Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MFD94LLN) manages optional Google tags. The Analytics implementation is not duplicated inside the Tag Manager container.
After optional consent, the Meta Pixel (ID 944044103257487) records PageView events and a Contact event after a project inquiry is successfully submitted.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel events do not include the name, email addresses, phone numbers or project message typed into the form. The form sends the message through the site's delivery endpoint without opening an email application on the visitor's device.
When a visitor intentionally submits the contact form, the website's protected server endpoint uses Resend to deliver the information to Oak Coast Studio. This form-delivery request is separate from optional analytics and advertising measurement and is needed only to perform the action requested by the visitor.
Cookie and storage categories
- Necessary: hosting, security and the browser-stored cookie-consent choice. These functions are used to deliver the site and remember the visitor's privacy selection.
- Analytics: Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> to distinguish visits and sessions. Google documents a default maximum duration of up to two years for these GA4 cookies, subject to account settings, consent and browser controls.
- Advertising measurement: the Meta Pixel may set identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc after consent to measure visits and contact intent. Availability and duration depend on Meta, browser settings and the visitor's choices.
- Tag management: Google Tag Manager delivers approved tags but does not replace the consent choice or independently make Google Ads conversion tracking active.
Google Consent Mode v2
Before a visitor makes a choice, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied. Accepting optional cookies changes those settings to granted and allows Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to load. Choosing Necessary only keeps them denied. The same website control also prevents the Meta Pixel from loading until optional tracking is accepted.
Your choices
On your first visit, the website asks whether you want to accept optional analytics and advertising technologies or continue with necessary technology only. Both choices are presented with equal visual prominence, and the site remains available either way. You can reopen Cookie settings on the website at any time to change that choice. You can also use your browser settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and stored website data, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google Ads
A Google Ads account exists, but Google Ads conversion measurement, remarketing and personalized-advertising tags are not currently active on this website. They will remain inactive until the required Google Ads conversion ID and label are installed, tested and covered by the appropriate consent controls. This policy will be reviewed before activation.
